Detroit: Become Human reviews will start trickling in as players prepare for the launch of the next big PlayStation release.
The good news is that Sony have now confirmed the official PSN unlock times for the May 25 launch.
A new trailer has been released by PlayStation that reveals the new exclusive will be available to play from midnight Eastern Time on May 25.
However, Sony have revealed that all launches should be localised, meaning that for gamers in the UK, Detroit Become Human should unlock at midnight, BST, too.
To speed things up on launch day, PS4 players can now pre-load the game and have it ready to play as soon as it unlocks.
For those who want to try out a little demo of the game before the big release can head over to the PlayStation Store now.
Quantic Dream launched the very first scene of the game, Hostage, as a download in late April.
It provides players with a short taste of what the rest of the game will play like and doesn’t require an existing pre-order to access.
Speaking about the game’s development, a message from the studio team reveals: “During these four years, we have gone through all possible states and emotions that the development of such a challenging project induces: the pride of working on something special and unique, the doubt of attaining all our creative and technical goals, the hope when publicly releasing scenes and trailers and seeing players’ positive reactions, the fear of not having enough time and resources to make everything perfect, the joy of finally seeing all parts of the puzzle come together, scene after scene, and finally being able to play the game from start to finish.
“The fate of Connor, Kara and Markus is in your hands, along with the fate of all other characters in the game.
“Through your decisions and actions, you will have the opportunity to become the writer, the director and the main protagonist of the most branching story we have ever created.”
Detroit: Become Human will be releasing this week on PS4, and is very unlikely to ever be available on either Xbox One and PC.
